Four things Erasmus students routinely fail to claim

All public money, all documented on official government pages — and what applies to you depends entirely on which country your university is in.

+€250/mo

The fewer-opportunities top-up. In Germany it covers first-generation students — if neither parent has a degree, you qualify. In Spain it comes with the beca MEC; in France only échelons 6–7. Almost nowhere is it paid automatically: you have to declare it.

€150–400/mo

The grant on top of your grant. Italy's ministry pays a second monthly amount banded by ISEE — but miss the ISEE deadline, or go fuori corso, and it pays nothing at all. Spain and France pay regional top-ups instead, most needing a separate application.

€292–606/mo

Your base rate isn't fixed. In France every university picks its own rate inside that range, and some fund only three months of a semester. There is no national table to check it against.

Keep it

Your national grant continues abroad. Spain's beca, France's bourse and Italy's borsa all keep paying — but France needs a dispense d'assiduité first, and in Germany your Erasmus grant above €300/month is deducted from your BAföG.

Questions students ask

Isn't this all free to look up myself?

Yes — every source we use is public. It's spread across your university's site, your region's government portal, the Ministry, and your town hall, each with different deadlines and eligibility rules. We've read them so you don't have to work out which of the seventeen regional programmes applies to you, and which need a separate application.

Are you going to apply for me?

No. We find what you may be eligible for and show you exactly how and where to apply. You file the applications — we make sure you know they exist and don't miss the deadlines.

Can you guarantee I'll get the money?

No, and anyone who promises that is lying. Award decisions belong to the funding bodies. What we can tell you is what you appear eligible for based on published criteria, and what most students in your situation never claim.

What if you don't find anything for me?

If we can't identify at least three funding opportunities you're eligible for, we refund you in full.

My university isn't in one of those four countries — can I use this?

We cover students whose home university is in Spain, France, Germany or Italy. Other countries are next — leave your email and we'll tell you when yours is live.
